Consell blocks two local companies from giving formentera.eco vehicle authorisations to international firm

The Office of Mobility of the Consell de Formentera has blocked a bid by two local car rental companies to transfer clearances for 40 cars and 88 motorcycles to an international company. For the 2023 enforcement period of formentera.eco (1 June to 30 September), one company had requested 40 authorisations for passenger cars and the other 88 authorisations for motorcycles. The requests were denied because formentera.eco rules do not allow for authorisations to be transferred between companies.
