Island Register of Cultural Interest Sites (RIBIC)
Law 12/1998 of 21 December concerning historical patrimony in the Balearic Islands, article 12 of which establishes that each of the island councils shall create an Island Register of Cultural Interest Sites with an end toward identifying and locating sites benefitting from this protective framework.
In 2009 the Formentera Island Council ratified its Island Register of Cultural Interest Sites during a plenary session held 10 February 2009. This document was revised and updated in 2014.
