Formentera's turning cameras with Festival Formentera Fotogràfica

30 April to 3 May the third year of Formentera Fotogràfica, a festival chaired by photographers of both national and international acclaim that brings to the island's shores some 60 participants as well as families and friends.

Carles Bernús, head of el Patronat de Turisme, the local tourism advisry board, Francesc Fàbregues, one of the festival's organisers and Oriol Alamany, professional trainer, revealed the details of this year's festival. Isabel Steva Hernández, Colita, Hugo Rodríguez, Emiliano Moranatti and a total of nationally- and internationally-renowned photographers will join the festival.

The programming of cultural and sporting events at the beginning and end of the summer season is one of the reasons tourist figures have increased in recent years.
