The curtain came up yesterday revealing the latest body of work from Robert Hawkins, a painter whose connections with the island of Formentera stem back to the 1980s. Serendipia sospechosa is a selection of 22 landscapes and portraits of different local personalities. In Hawkins' own words the exposition is “a fusion of the two previous collections – Sospechosos habituales from 2011 and Serendipia from 2013”. Both were hosted in the same gallery as 2015's Serendipia sospechosa – the exhibition hall of the Ajuntament vell in Sant Francesc. The expo will run through next 18 July, Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
