Consell unveils new round of classes on social and cultural integration for immigrants

The Formentera Office of Social Welfare is pleased to report that enrolment runs 20 to 29 October for the 16th round of a free course seeking to promote the social and cultural integration of recent immigrants to the island. The 20-hour course course will unfold from 2 to 25 November at Formentera’s adult learning centre. The Balearic government offers those who successfully complete the course a report accrediting their effort to integrate, and instruction is tailored to help individuals who are preparing for the CCSE citizenship test.

FOSW chief Rafael Ramírez highlighted local government’s “commitment to help immigrants integrate” and trumpeted the course as a double boost to participants: first, by facilitating students’ integration in society and second, by making sure they stay on the right side of administrative paperwork.
