Course content
Space is available for 15, and admission is granted in the order applications are received. Individuals interested in enrolling should visit the social welfare department during normal office hours (àrea de Benestar Social; 9.00am to 2.00pm) and come with either a NIE (foreign-born resident's card) or passport. The twice-weekly lessons —a total of 20 hours of instruction— take place Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4.30pm to 7.00pm, and are free of charge. Classes are held in the large classroom of the adult education centre, or Escola d'Adults.

Topics covered will include Spain's constitutional values, human rights and civil liberties, the Balearic Statute of Autonomy, the European Union and gender equality, among others. The courses are aimed at helping students obtain accreditation from the Balearic government attesting to students' will to integrate.
