Mobility, health and safety: move with intelligence and live better

Wednesday, September 22: A car-free day in Formentera.
Since the mobility area of the Consell of Formentera, and following the actions in the framework of the European Mobility Week 2010 from 16 to 22 September which is promoted at European level, one more year Formentera endorses this initiative that this year stands out with the special theme "Mobility, health and safety: move with intelligence and live better."
This is the third year that Formentera is involved in activities aimed at promoting sustainable mobility, as the consoler of Mobility, Josep Mayans has appealed to the people from Formentera for the next September 22 Formentera becomes Sustainable .
Thus, the Consell de Formentera participation in this edition will be to provide alternative mobility options, to invite everyone to do a day without cars on the island, and therefore increase the frequency of passage of public transport services, offer free bikes in various parts of the island and there will be a display of electric bikes in the plaza, which will be available to the public.

Special schedule of public transport
L1-frequency every 15 minutes (from 09.00 and until 21.00 pm)
L2-frequency every 30 minutes (from 09.00 and until 21.00 pm)

Free Bicycles
May be collected at the offices of Moto Rent Pujols from 09.00 to 13.00 and return from 16.00 to 19.30 h.
