Presentation of the 2015 CIF budget

Wednesday, 15 October, the Office of the Economy of the Formentera Council presented the administration's budget for the year 2015. There are two features that make the document noteworthy: first, its prevision of total debt resolution in the first trimester of 2015. Second, the budget calls for re-worked plan of investments, targeting spending to achieve three goals: to establish Formentera as a clean, safe and tranquil destination for tourists; to promote a renewal of the island's rural areas; and, finally, to continue the push to reduce car-traffic and transform the towns of the island into people-friendly spaces.
