Image and Sound Archive of Formentera

The Archive of Image and Sound of Formentera (AISF) is an institution with a clear role in supporting the search and research. Its objectives are the location, recovery, protection, research, study and dissemination of image and sound documents as an asset as part of the historical heritage of Formentera, to preserve, enlarge and disseminate cultural heritage.
The funds of the AISF is divided into six sections:
Photography and postcards, General Film library, posters and advertisement material, audio, production and publication of the AISF and specialty Library .
Although its recent creation in 2010, the center is created with the aim of gradually acquiring all audiovisual and image funds related to the island, both through other institutions, most particularly, through private funds.
