Formentera provides image for ONCE ticket Sunday, 29 June

An image of Formentera will grace the ONCE lottery ticket next Sunday, 29 June. The selected shot was taken at the Ses Salines National Park and will be on 5.5 million ticket stubs distributed across the Spanish territory. It is part of a series of designs that the ONCE organisation has dedicated to national parks.

In Eivissa, Formentera's councilor of Social Welfare Dolores Fernández Tamargo attended the release of the coupon's new design. The presentation was officiated by Mariano Torres, director of ONCE Ibiza – Formentera, and Eduardo Parga, director of IBANAT (Institut Balear de la Natura).

Torres had the grace to give a framed reproduction of the Formentera lottery ticket to our local council. Prior to the new design, Formentera had only once headed the ONCE ticket: an image of the Es Cap de Barbaria lighthouse adorned the paper coupons on 5 March, 2013.
