Ana Juan, president of the Consell de Formentera, together with Bartomeu Escandell, general services councillor, and Paola Sales, legal services coordinator, has presided over the swearing in of Ángel Custodio Navarro as permanent senior clerk of the Consell Insular de Formentera. Custodio, who until now has been the administration's clerk on secondment, attained the senior nationally qualified rank in July 2022. The position of municipal clerk had remained without a permanent occupant since 2001, when the island's government was the Ajuntament de Formentera.
